ABOUT
Sarah Milton - BSpPath, MSPA, CPSP
Sarah completed her Bachelor of Speech Pathology at the University of Queensland in 1997 and is a certified Practicing Member of Speech Pathology Australia.
Sarah has experience working in various settings, including Community Health, Primary Schools and Private Practice. Sarah also practised in England for several years. A highlight during this period was her time working in a paediatric language resource. In collaboration with Language Support Teachers and Teaching Assistants, Sarah provided speech pathology intervention to children aged 3 to 5 years with developmental language disorder within a small nursery-based (Kinder) setting.
After a career break to focus on her own children, Sarah has recently returned to practise as a Speech Pathologist.

FOCUS AREAS
Speech Sounds
Perhaps you often ask your child to repeat what they’ve said or others find it difficult to understand what your child has said. Some children have difficulty producing certain sounds.
Language
Some children may be late to talk; others may have difficulties understanding instructions and putting words together.
Literacy
Some children have trouble with reading and spelling. Sarah is certified in the Sounds Write programme, a highly structured, systematic phonics programme based on the Science of Reading.
